Sea Fishing
Sørøya is situated way up North on the very edge of the Artic ocean. Perfectly situated in the middle of the world richest fishing grounds. Here Sea anglers have the oppertunity to catch many different types of fish all year round.
Sørøya has been called "Lille Lofoten" - this is due to the annual return of the cod which returns to the coast to lay their eggs in the waters close to Sørøya.
High season for skreifiske (returning Cod) is from early march to late April. In these months the sea is alive with big and fat fish. This gives you a unique oppertunity for a tough seafishing experience for those in search of excitement.
